The GMCI team includes an experienced client services staff, but our resources reach far beyond. Our network extends from the vast reserves of Battelle, the world's largest independent R&D firm, and the NASA Glenn Research Center, a leader in space, aeronautics and science, to a list of technology transfer, procurement and other business support organizations.
Anthony Gillespie is Program Manager for GMCI. He is responsible for overall management of the program, including providing business support services, facilitating the identification and transfer of technology, and identifying funding opportunities for client companies. Anthony's experience includes electrical engineering, technology transfer, and information technology. As a Project Manager for the Center of Technology Transfer at Carnegie Mellon University, Anthony was involved in the formation of two start-up companies, and was responsible for commercializing technologies from the Carnegie Institute of Engineering and School of Computer Science. Anthony has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton. He also has an M.B.A. and an M.S. in Management of Information Systems from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
As an industrial technology specialist, Amy Ballentine facilitates the identification and transfer of NASA technology to GMCI and other companies. Amy routinely addresses an assortment of technology development and commercialization issues, performs market research, and explores market opportunities for clients. Amy holds a B.S. in engineering in polymer science from Case Western Reserve University.
Rosie Williams is the Program Assistant for GMCI, providing organizational and administrative support for the development and ongoing management of GMCI. In addition to her 15 years of administrative experience, Rosie holds an Associate's Degree from Lorain Business College.
